My 25th is also hardtail, but my silo spec is vintage trem. I thought about having it float slightly, but I am pretty harsh on my trem and having it float just makes tuning stability that much more of a problem for me.

If you like to pitch a little sharp and flat on your trem vibrato a little floating wont hurt, but if you're pretty hard on the trem, I'd leave it flush against the body.

I love all of my vintage trems, but I'm not a deep dive guy. In fact, I don't use my trems for much more than a little vibrato so the factory setup is perfect for me. Ask Lukather. Didn't he switch back from a Floyd?

It's flush on my Axis Sport and I set it floating on my Silo Special for that Beckish bends.
However, I'm not very good at setting tremolos up and now I'm experiencing some pitch wobbling when I'm picking hard. Is it possible to make it less sensitive somehow?
