I guess this question is for any mod not employed by EBMM...not that any EBMM people are here because they are paid to be. Because it's been clearly stated that is not the case. How did you end up becoming a moderator? Just curious.

ok so that was a dumb answre - here's the truth. id met pop at open house and we'd subsequently spoken and email a few times about stuff.

anywho... there was a time when there was another "disruption" in the forum. i aksed BP if he wanted some help on the mod front since i own both guitars & basses, knew enough about the instruments and cuz i spent equal time on the guitar and bass side. next thing i knew i logged in and had extra buttons... quickly followed with an email from dargin saying they made me a mod.

i can only assume that bp trusted my judgement and foound my interactions here to be positive and trsuted me to represent his company. no BS it was (and still is) an honor

and a fine choice you were Phatty

thanks pops :)

not cuz im a mod - but a big thing us mm fans should do is to scour the other forums and make sure no mis info is out there about the MM products. not too many folks as are educated as we are.

ive spent a lot more time lurking on other forums (TB specifically) after turning mod here than i did before i was a mod.

Back when I was a punk ass 14 year old a wise person told me:
"It's more important to get along with the people in the band than to be teamed with the best musicians in the world"
Soon as I met Phatty in SLO I thought:
"I wanna be in a band with this guy!"

This is my 3000th post

Speaking of moderators

We haven't heard from Jimi D in quite a while.
He's still listed as a mod
Did I miss something?

Just hoping everything is OK. Jimi brought some good info to a lot of topics here.

Last time Jimi D posted over on The Gear Page was 10-26-2006, if it's the same guy.

Phattduck, I didn't even realize you were a moderator lol

I guess because it's so low-drama around here, and everyone is cool
