Question: Has any one used cobalts on a JP

I've put them on my JP7 and soon on my JP12, they sound great, loyal to their description

I tried them on my jp6 once. Thinking back, I think the "feel" was more of an appeal for me than the sound.

I just set up one of our new JP70's with the Cobalt 7 String set and did an A/B with one without them.

MAN! Those Cobalts are truly awesome!

The cobalt strings are great. They last and sound like cannons unplugged

I have them on both my JPX and my JP BFR baritone and found them to work very well with both guitars. The baritone sounded kinda muddy with other strings and I didn't like playing it all that much. Since putting on the Cobalts it feels very close to the JPX as far as tension and it sounds equally as awesome.

Been considering Cobalts, and after reading all these posts, and about their brightness and mid-heavy tendency, I'm sold. Gonna have to do a string run soon. Thanks for the info everybody!

If you are gonna put them on the JP70, they really sing! The Cobalts almost seem to be made for that guitar. You won't be disappointed!

I have Cobalts on JP6, good strings, but as someone mentioned earlier to me it's more about how they feel than how they sound.

However - I've been playing on the same sets of strings at least 2 hours every day for nearly 6 months now! Talk about durability!
