Question on piezo preamp (pic inside)

I was looking at "The Process" slideshow from the homepage and was wondering...where is the piezo preamp (pictured below) actually installed on a guitar?

In the picture, is this actually 4 preamps stuck together?

Well that looks a big pcb ... a piezo would be one eighth this size

definitely 4 PCB here. Either a bass one or the ASS piezo one
