question: product sheets?

so i'm looking at the product sheet from NAMM for the 20th SR5, and i'm seeing all the specs

Size: 13 3/8" wide 1 3/4" thick 45 3/4" long
weight: 10 lbs
scale: 34"
radius: 11"
headstock: ONLY 9"


whats the deal with " only 9" "

just curious, have people expressed concern that the headstocks would be huge?


I just thought the inclusion of "only" was odd...

Musicman basses have pretty wee headstocks when you compare them to a Fender or the like, so a measure of that really.

A wee headstock weighing less so the bass will ideally balance a lot better and have less neckdive

interesting observation, you may be right or need to increase your alcohol consumption. Do both just to be safe...
