azzy - I will try to hang on until the summer. I'm really content with my double H Bongo 4 and it's the only bass I take to the gig these days. The drummer calls it a machine. I played a double H Stingray at a Guitar Center that really got me excited but it was the exact same color combo as my Bongo, Sapphire Black, Monestone pick guard and rosewood neck and it seems, as I check around, that all the Guitar Centers get the same color combos in the same instrument. So anyway, I'm looking around for a different color combo that speaks to me and may wait until a double H Sterling shows up although they seem to be rare at the moment.
When I do find one that I can't live without, I'll give you the first option on my Sterling.

So as not to offend people, I've removed it from my sig, though I didn't mean anything by it - just couldn't be bothered to type out the whole "fortune's always hiding" bit of the chant, so I just did the last 2 lines...

POQ - they're still class :D You should try and catch us on the telly - I know there is some nutty hammers fan in Brisbane I think who bought the rights to both play-off final games so he could screen them for Aussies round the country :)

Unfortunately buying used from overseas may be my only option of getting the EBMM I want. It is amazing how hard it is to even order guitars here in Australia. Basses are not a problem.

azzy .. oh i've always kept tags on them - and Charlton who I also went to see back when. Was sad to see them disintegrate with relegation but didn't they do well this year? I get cable here so get to see the Sky EPL games . . I wouldn't miss a trip to Upton Park now, would I?

Good man :D

You've got one up on me there as we don't have Sky :) Can you catch the BBC there, as the semi final will be televised?

Let's hope we can make Europe this season either through league position (though we've got a tough run coming up - away to BOTH Chelsea and Man U) or by making it to the FA Cup final - which guarantees a UEFA spot at least :)

We were heartbroken when we a)went down and b)got beaten by Palace first time round, but it was good to laugh at them on their way down :D

No FA cup? Well if you fancy we can tape the semi for you and mail it ;)

I know what you mean about getting fed up - we seem to be the only team who play decent footy and who play it all the time regardless of opposition - you'll not find us packing out the midfield no siree!

Looking at the names yuo've called the other clubs, I'd be willing to bet that you surf Football365 don't you eh? :D

I am reminded of the quote about American and Britain being two countries, separated by a common language.

I've since realised I missed a "not" out in that sentence, but nonetheless what you say is very true :D
