What size allen wrench is the set screw in the knobs on my SR5? The bifocals aren't letting it show up well enough for me to guess. My Mid knob is looking loose and I would like to get that fixed asap.

Thanks

5/64" on mine, I assume they're all the same.

Wait a second.....you can read 5/64" on a tiny allen wrench but can't see the knob well enough to try different sizes? :p Hmmmmm....... :p

I can't read the allen wrenches that size any more but I do have them in a rack stored according to size that let's me choose the one needed.

Guess I need to go get the glasses upgraded.

What is smart ass about indexing your drill bits or allen wrenches? What is wrong with getting old and having some issues with eyesight and loving music?
What is wrong with knowing Cb doesn't exist?

Now while I don't think I have asked a stupid question yet. I may have one now.

Jon... it isn't the knob that is loose. There is some side play in the pot. It does not crackle or affect sound. Should I change the pot on my mid?

Thanks Jon.

It doesn't bother me, but it is the only bass I use now and I got some gigs coming up that I don't want to have a problem with. I respect your opinion. I have it pretty well set where it will remain. Shouldn't be a problem. If it does I will contact customer service and get one headed here toot sweet.

As for the worry about scratches, I promised to beat the hell out of the first person to scratch this bass and I mean even myself. I know my temper LOL. I ain't a gonna scratch it.

Thanks again Jon!
