Here's a quote from John Fogerty's guitar tech:

"Music Man makes the best prodution basses around. Period. I have not touched George's StingRay's in two years, and they sound amazing through any rig and P.A. That is a fact, it's not even an opinion. So there."

So there!

He forgot to mention how cool they look:D
I'll always remember my first gig with the Stingray. I waited to open up the case till the start of the show (no one has to know I use an expensive musicman, to minimize the risc of stealing), and the guitarist of the other band said: "wow, that bass looks incredible"! And when Gothic people say something like that about a natural bass, it means a lot!

Good.

I've found a HOME in the Army.

The Ernie Ball Army of the United Snakes of Music Man.

Long live the People's Proletariat Bassist's Paradise!

F*nd*r players are running yellow dogs of capitalism.

(Somebody really needs to do up one of those Soviet-style socialist portraits of BP....)

I have zero disagreement with that guitar tech.

(But John's bass player was playing a F#nder Jazz when I saw him in concert last year. )

George Hawkins plays a stingray and John Fogerty plays numerous Music Mans including a signature guitar Dudley made for him that only three exist. Maybe Dudley can post pics...I dont know where mine is! (DOnt worry Dudley does!)
