It's great, and I love Rush; but Geddy needs a Sterling H/SC and Alex needs to be playing a 20th Silhouette.

Dreamline is a great song :)

I am a huge Rush fan (Geddy is one of my greatest inspirations when it comes to bass) If you are into them I highly recommend their new DVD Rush Replay x3.
Being a Canadian it kinda makes you proud when you have such a great band to represent your country :p

P.S. Can't wait 'till their new album is released and they go on tour!

The Groove

I love the groove in Dreamline, it is even better live. It is amazing to feel how this line grooves and to see how Alex's guitar weaves into the overall picture. This is a great song.

Yeah, R30 and Rush in Rio are great stuff. The interviews on R30 are cool. I was hoping Dream Theater would do smoething like R30 for their recent tour of South America. Instead, I got "Score," which is just fine by me, especially since I was fortunate enough to have made it to that show. :D

great great clip, boy do i love Rush. Lifeson EBMM would be a nice addition, but i dont think he's that active enough to warrant one. i'd buy one though!

The band do seem to be pretty much up to full speed again now with a new album and tour in the works. With the fairly recent creation of the H & K signature amp, I would have thought the time would be good for a sig guitar for Alex.

As someone who has chopped and changed guitars throughout his career, I would have thought Alex would be a great candidate for a purpose built sig guitar?

Why not a EBMM Lifeson model? He plays literally EVERYTHING BUT!!!!

Gibson ES335/355
Gibson Les Paul
Gibson SG doubleneck (EDS 1275)
Fender Strat
Fender Telecaster
PRS
etc....

Maybe we can pull that stupid black Fender J from Geddy's hands as well. He would look good playing a SR or Bongo.:D

I had a great Rush/EBMM moment yesterday as I was in PMT in Birmingham, UK, ordering my JP6 LE and they had R30 on the big projection screen as I was handing over the deposit! It was heaven

But yes, I think Alex would look great with an Axis SS!

I am looking forward to their new album so much! Hopefully this summer I am going to try and make it to as many Rush concerts as I can :)

How do you think Geddy would fare with a Bongo in his arsenal? :p
