Thanks to everyone who voted......... Unfortuately the contest was over before I even found out that it came to a vote. The radio station never turned off the polling page, so I continued to rack up the votes although it was already decided and the winner was awarded. When I called the station this afternoon, I had way more votes that anyone else. I asked when the contest was going to end, and they told me that the contest ended two weeks ago! The radio station never contacted me to tell me it was up to a vote or that the contest was over. It's hard not to be cynical and claim that it is fixed, but most likely it was just poorly organized and executed.

Thanks again to everyone who voted, that does mean alot.

We should stage our own riff competition here on the forum! Let's just hope some bloke named John Petrucci doesn't show up to participate.
