I'll get pics up at some point soon. I was in the GC in Buffalo and they had a few clearance Balls. I ended up taking home an Ice Blue Luke. The blue is a nice color.

Between this big clearance and these Roasted Maple guitars, my wallet is really not liking this company lately!!!!!

So I took a couple pics. I am very bad at photos:
In the case:

My awful attempt to show off the color... Its like Luke blue but a few shades "bluer"

Congrats, seems like your new Luke came to you "out of the blue"...:D
(hmmm...stupid wordplay...didn't have my morning coffee yet!)

I have had this happen to me before too, so don't feel so bad! You got a great guitar in a Cool Blue Color ;)

Nice, love NGD, especially when one has no intention of buying one, I know the feeling well:eek::)

Congrats on the new Luke!

The Luke is great so far. Its real good counterpart to my Y2d. I feel as though the Morse is still what I'll play 90% of the time, but that Morse will be my take along to wedding gigs, and other cover gigs. I think the Morse is like a workhorse, and the Luke is a super refined strat. Love 'em both!

I randomly strolled into our local GC yesterday...Emerald BFR ASS on closeout, cherry and island burst BFR JPs, and another BFR JP in red in the Platinum Room...I managed to buy a set of strings and ran, wheezing. Too much self-control, or maybe I am just stupid ;).

I wish I had that kind of self control. I do have some though... If I didn't I also would have walked off with an ASS they had...

that's going to be a rare colour.
hang on to it!

I really wanted an AL in that colour. It was my guitar fantasy before they even offered the colour, but it came and went at the wrong time.

A trip to GC resulting in an unexpected Ball acquisition? Never happened to me.

Every time I step into a GC I am hoping for a Ball acquisition event (BAE®), so, when it happens, it is never unexpected. :D

Congrats jptortor! Lukes rule, as you no doubt know by now!
