Hi everyone

I have yet another order to make!

This time for a Stingray 5 HS.

I cannot decide on White or V Sunburst. It has to be tort, unpainted headstock, possibly rosewood.

What do you guys think? My other Ray on order is the Classic in Classic White/Tort/Maple.

Personally I would consider Tobacco burst over Vintage. Looks real sharp in the configuration you mentioned.

Up until a week ago, I owned two SR5's. Here's a photo of them. I sold the Vintage Sunburst and kept the White. White/Tort/Rosewood is classy IMO.
Which ever configuration you decide on, enjoy it!

Wow....they both look good. I love the Ray 5 guard but it does cover a LOT of the red/lighter areas on the front of the burst. After these pics im very tempted by White again....

My next Ray after these 2 come will be a Stingray 4 3 Band EQ....perhaps I should save the Sunburst for that bad boy!

The rosewood looks nice....I like it. Very classic!

You are right....the Ray 5 looks good in Vintage Sunburst....I can always get a Ray 4 in White and that will look awesome as well.

I prefer solid colors. From a distance, they visually project a more "distinct" shape.

Ive gone for White, same as the pics above, but im not a fan of painted headstocks so its just a plain one. Tort guard, HS configuration, White body, rosewood neck.

Awesome.

Next, Big Al 5.

You must be getting paid some handsome coin Movielife to go on this buying spree. You starring in, or just directing?

Well, I sold two basses and two cabs, to buy two new basses and 1 cab (4 ohm instead).

The Big Al 5 would be hitting my absolute limit with cash, but I don't have any interest in expensive hobbies such as expensive cars etc, so it's ok :) My friends spend over £10000 on one car and IMO that's a waste. Basses are much cooler and fun. Plus much cheaper!
