Remus,

Do me a big favor. I'm not hard to understand, I think. You either get what I told you via PM or you don't, and either way is okay with me.

I'm no longer going to let one troublesome post kill an entire thread, unless the entire thread is predicated on that bad post.

So this is staying open although I initially closed it.

Let's play nice.

Jack

I love old and new basses alike. It seems like every different one has some different nuance to offer. But the Bongo is a real acheivment in so many ways. It's flexible, comfortable and powerfull in the same package. It has both a unique sound and a more typical sound. It sounds great through even crappy amps, and for the money it holds up against any other bass. I've read posts on other sites of people trading in their W@rw***ks and M@d^/^s basses for the Bongo. It's not only the "old" basses that the Bongo is out classing, it's some of the new "elite" basses as well. In fact, I personally put the Bongo in that "elite" class.

But what do I know...hehe, I play a Stingray.

Boy, that post brings me back!
I know what you're feeling Jack. I played most of the '60's on the old school stuff.

What a ride.

If I knew it was going to last a lifetime I would have enjoyed it more..... The Bongo works real well for me too.....

Don't know what all the fuss is about and don't want to know, but I just had to say that Bongo that started the thread is one of the best-looking basses I've ever seen. Gorgeous.
