Re-Fret

I have a guitar, and it is very much in need of a re-fret. On average how much would it cost? This guitar is my baby, its p.o.s, but its very special to me. Frets aren't supposed to be flat, right? Thanks.

He has prices on his site, not cheap but GOOD!
He used to work at Robin guitars for many years.

A luthier don't work for peanuts am afraid
And a re-fret is a complicated and time consuming job (to be done correctly).
I have NO idea what you thought it would be but I would think about $200 is NOT a bad price for total re-fret.

Well really I was thinking it would be around 300, I was just hoping someone would tell me it would be less. I got the guitar for free, and the guy I got it from payed 75 bucks for it, so spending that much money on it is kinda weird.

Well, it depends on the guitar. If it's from a squier strat pack - then no - I wouldn't do it. If it's an LP Standard - then I'd think about it. If it's an EBMM - I'd do it!

It's a Les Paul knock off. It actually has no brand markings anywhere on the guitar, but oddly enough it has a serial number. I got it for free from my Grandfather, and he paid $75 for it. Its my first guitar, so needless to say it's very very special to me. It's also my only guitar, and I noodle around on it sometimes, and I really think the flat frets are hampering any real performance it could possibly have. I wouldn't know because it was given to me that way.

I have paid £200 on a few occasions for a full fret-dress
