Well now, that's more like it! I should have known, BP is a trend setter, not a trend follower.

BP and Koogs, you can both forward the emails and IMs to me. I'll bore them to death with eastern philosophy, Jungian psychology and Campbellian mythology.

No.....forward them to me, so I can turn them into a customer/knucklehead.

Koogie,

I'm sorry, it's all my fault. I have been directing people to you in hopes of starting an export business on the side. All of the emails I have gotten from people asking me to ship to France, Germany, Thailand, etc I have sent them your email address and said "This guy koogie will do it for you" I was hoping you and I could work something out by bumping the price maybe $500 and then splitting the additional profit down the middle. It's too bad that you thwarted my plan before I could tell you about it.

Your pal Pete

another normal day at the office....

This explains the insane models you guys keep coming out with. It all makes sense now. I'm serious! Corporate culture. Fun and hard work - what a concept!

Koogs,

I've gotten those emails in the past and told them to go elsewhere for clandestine assistance.

I've also gotten fired from EBMM.. quite the feat since I never worked there! ;)

Koogs, you know there are all types in this world. The boldness to ask things such as this is unbelieveable. The funny thing is they don't think they're doing anything wrong and make you feel that you are doing something wrong by not helping them. What ever happened to honesty? If EBMM are expensive in your country, save up more money or buy a ticket to the US and buy one here.

lol

i get tons of emails and IMs too. for some reason i dont get many PM's... probably since my IM is public. I get lots of people on TB asking me about sterlings too.

I dont mind normal emails & questions at all, i actually like em and they break up my work day pretty well. but ya... i've never received emails about polish rags etc. getting 10 IMs a day for new keys for a case would annoying.

SteveB where the hell have you been?

[momentary derailing]

Crazy month.. my uncle died at age 57 and my mother and grandmother are taking it very hard. He was a starving artist so there were no arrangements made, nor any $$ or insurance, so that made everything even more stressful and hectic for the family. The same day that he died I had twister-like winds and took some storm damage at home.. and also dinged my precious JP6! What a day!
Then, my daughter started kindergarten and my professor-wife started back to work after summer break. Plus, I developed a mySQL database-driven PHP web site for my high school class since we're having a 20th next year (eek!). My company's lease is near the end and we had to decide whether to stay put or move.. an even tougher call given the daily carnage in the mortgage industry recently. So we were shopping possible sites while negotiating with our current landlord. But the dust is settling now, so here I am.
