Real fake?

Hello,

I found an announcement for this odd "Cheyenne Music Man EHV", declared as a "korean official licensed product" from the '90: it seems a "real fake" to me, has someone any advice? No s/n, no "made-in-somewhere" label, a suspicious decal on the headstock..


it seems very similar to this one jim-harley-vintage-telecaster-1980 : not a telecaster but surely a jim harley, so an asiatic (korean? samick?) guitar.

Hi Fabrizio!

Your instinct is correct. The only licensed products were the OLP guitars from the early 2000s and after that contract ended the Sterling by Music Man instruments.

It looks we're neighbours, I live in Sestri (Ponente!). FYI the announcement is on subito and mercatino, it seems near Spezia. As it's a "real fake", is IMHO outrageously overpriced.
