OT: Anyone know if that "Pulse" DVD is ever going to be released?
100% agreement here...I may have told this story before but...MEH! One time I fell asleep on the couch, and I was awakened by the sound of angels...it was Gilmour(Pink Floyd), playing in that Live Aid concert...it was the second solo on Comfortably Numb, and he was high up, possibly on the high E, playing
2(TWO) friggin notes, along with his whammy, and I swear I started to cry...man it was sweet. When I was young, I learned a few songs and solos, stuff like Crazy Train, some Whitesnake, Maiden...etc...but the hardest songs for me to learn, not hard that I couldn't do it, but challenging enough, were the Gilmour solos...
Have you guys heard any of Davids solo stuff, his first effort, "David Gilmour" rocks!
