Spent Friday and Saturday in the Studio, Big Al and Bongo in tow of course.. The engineer was really cool and super helpful and did his best to get around some of our personal limitations. I think the four songs we recorded turned out really well. I really like the first three songs. He ended up mic'ing my TC Electronic rig over the SVT he usually uses, said he liked how the TC recorded a lot. Played the Big Al for tracks 1, 3, 4 and the Bongo on the second one. The songs below haven't been mastered yet, but give a listen, we're excited about them, should help us get some even better gigs.
This song is the Big Al with the center pickup solo'd played with pick. Setting is the first multiband distortion, clean mix at 11, drive mix at 1 and Drive level at 2 or 3

This song is the Bongo run through the Smart Harmony -8TH on the Line6 M9 with the source audio sending a clean boost. At the end of the song I morph from the clean boost to the 1st foldback setting in thats set at 12 on all knobs. I meant to have the M9 feeding into the SA, but forgot to change it before the recording. The M9 tracks so well though, it didn't make that much difference.

This is a subtle effect, the first Multiband distortion with just a little drive mixed in with a low drive level, clean at noon. Big Al finger style with the neck and middle pickups.

Last song is the Big Al fingerstyle with the middle pickup solo'd. No effects.
