I have been in the 'studio' at school (I say studio, it's more just a mac and a microphone) recording some songs for my music tech coursework. I need to record a popular song with at least 8 tracks. Easy! The only difficult part is trying to get the appaling equipment to work, but the ray sounds great consistently! After this has been marked I am finished and go to university later this year. I can probably only take one bass with me...it will be the sparkle (although the fretless is also epic...)

I will post the recordings when I have finished, I am recording vocals tomorrow.

I am recording 'polywog in a bog' from the recent barenaked ladies album 'snacktime' but I am playing bass on all of my classmates' recordings as well.

I am 'that guy' that has 'the stingrays', and end up playing for everyone, all the time.

I handed the recording in for marking today, the teachers love it. It sounds great despite being created in a room littered with crisp packets and shoddy amps!

Congrats! Always nice to manage to get a well sounding recording and have poeple like it. Rock on!
