Red EVH!

well, my ocd has finally landed me a good deal. I religiously check gc used every morning and today a red evh popped up for 1500. Called up and got some pics and is definitely worth it! Played Guitar but not in as bad condition as the sunburst I have on layaway at empire. No damage front or back.My tax return is scheduled to be deposited monday so I put some cash on it and the Red should be on it's way early next week. I will probably leave the sunburst on hold for a little while( just in case another good deal pops up )

Sweet deal!

It always kills me how GC can't afford a good digital camera to photograph guitars for sale! It's always the stock guy, with a cell phone photo that's too blurry, dark, etc. Bet this guitar looks much better in person.

Great score! That is the way you have to find certain guitars as they are still out there for a steal. A pro buffing and good cleaning of the neck and she will sparkle.

I agree, the pictures of used GC guitars are the worst! I don't even bother looking for used guitars on GC's site as the quality of the pics are terrible.

Yea I saw that one too, and like you I trawl GC all the time -- there are some great deals there. There's a huge variance between the stores on how they price and rate the guitars too. That's one thing that's hard to gauge - the star rating. But looking at your pics that thing is in great shape! Congrats on a good score. If that thing would have been in purple, it would have been g-o-n-e! lol

No its original lol. its just the way the flash/pic was taken. He sent me a bunch more pics and for some reason in this one i looks like someone put one of those plastic toggle rings on there. I know,it looked weird to me at first too until I saw the other pictures but this was the best pic he sent of the top...
