The JP BFR development was a lot of fun for me to watch unfold. Drew, Dudley, Jon, Big Poppa, John Petrucci, clint, Kevin, Bill, Linda, Tomas, Aziah, and every department all came together to make one fantastic axe!!!

I dont know what to say with out it sounding like i am a kiss ass. BUT this company we all love makes us part of what they do. That means a lot to me. To buy guitars with your name on the head means more than just getting a guitar. It is like a whole experience............ I am lost now.

What ia am trying badly to say is, thanks for investing in us and letting us help shape parts of the future.

I'm fairly new around here, but I dig your guitars and your interaction with your customers. The fact that Steve Morse and John Petrucci, two very exacting musicians, are in your family, says a lot about your commitment to your artists and to the quality of your work. Keep pushing the envelope and keep letting us see what you're doing. :)

Rock on!

Usually i try and refrain from posting my personal feelings on here to much, unless Barry Bonds comes up. But with that said let me extend a huge KUDO'S to the Music Man and Ernie Ball staff!!! 2007 is seeing the launch of numerous new products from BFR's to the amazing Wonder Wipes they are all top notch when it comes to quality and performance. Wait until you guys see the BFR's, SR5 20th Anniversary and Blue Dawn models in person....stunning!!! The attention to detail is second to none and the reaction from all of our dealers and distributors has been great! The Buzz surrounding the Music Man line is astronomical and growing by the day.....and I'm proud to be part of the team!!! Thanks to the whole EB/MM team.......and thanks to the forumites it really is a pleasure to work with such passionate and educated customers. You all truly are members of the Music Man Family!!

I usually try to stay out of these type threads as to try and not sound like a kiss ass even though the feelings and thoughts are warranted.
This really isn't just about Mr. Petrucci's newest guitar. It a celebration of the ongoing efforts made by everyone related to the Ernie Ball products. The company (everyone involved) are constantly going beyond the call of duty to improve, reinvent, and bring things to the next level. The product quality is already amazing, yet there's still the drive to improve! Beyond that is an incredibly amazing bunch of people with passion in everything they do with the end focus being the customer! You are all leaders in the industry, and a business model that any industry should try copy.
No pun intended, but you're on the Ball!
My hat comes off to you all, and I am extremely thankful for the experiences and information that is shared at this forum. Both on an industry level, and a personal one too.

All I can say is Thank You. :)

KISS ASS:D :p :D :p :D

In all seriousness, thanks to BP for letting us get an inside look at how these deals all come together. It was cool seein' the protos a while back and now we get to see the results. And thanks to John Petrucci for allowing the proto pics to be shown. Even though there was some backlash about the new design etc. Not only here but on his own forum for gosh sakes. The guitars look great.

I don't post much, but I spend a lot of time reading :) The openness and responsiveness of the EB staff is truly amazing. I guess I'm ever the engineer, I love knowing how things work, and this forum provides a fascinating window into how EB works as a company. I love reading about the history, the present, and the future of EB, straight from the people who made or are making it happen. Not many companies put themselves out there so plainly, especially on a forum where people can talk back! I'm glad that I have the opportunity to share in it.

Hoping it's a truly spectacular year for the company, even if it means longer wait times. Good luck EB guys and gals. We all really appreciate your intense desire to build us great instruments.
