Even more jaw-dropping than that top is that Celestion found anyone who actually wanted a redback. 🤣
Is the tonal profile special or something? Not sure why you'd want to put such a high output rated speaker in with a 30 watt amp, though MB did originally use the 100 Watt Jensen Blackbird speakers with their Cali 40.

Must've been an artist-spec Gamechanger, right?
Sure looks like it, has the USB port.

The tonal profile is not special, just sounds like muffled cardboard, in my own very personal opinion. Zilla cabs YT channel has some comparisons against a V30 and H Creamback and some others. What ever about the wattage, it's no disadvantage at all. My guess is that Celestion was just not selling them and Soldano got a rock bottom price.

I've got a SLO30 head paired with an Avatar cabinet with 2 Fane-Avatar M65 creambacks and it sounds amazing. The Creamback or Greenback seems to be the right speaker for that, IMHO. Maybe a G12H-30 but that may be too dark.

I'm not one to crap on V30s...they sound good with some amps, but to me, the SLO30 isn't one of them.
