? Regarding Sterling 5

So I've played the SR5 HS and am using my bongo 4 HH on most gigs. So now I'm interested in the new Sterling 5 HH or HS. My question is what is the tone difference between the SR and Sterling. I know the dimensions are different but what about tone. Is it that different from the SR. I would think it's definitely different than the Bongo. I know Bovinehost et all have played most everything MM.

i havent played a sterling 5... but if you're buying new you should know the new SR5s' pickups are back to being alnico while the sterling 5 will be ceramic.

i dunno if the preamps differ tho.
