so Ijust got back from rehearsing with my good friend Luke Nielsen for an upcoming 'industry' showcase.
for this gig I decided to go with the recently nylon tapewound strung Bongo5 as Luke's tunes are kinda U2 meets the Smiths meets Jeff Buckley so I wanted to have a bit more vibey of a tone..... well, hot dang if it didn't cook!! Definitely not for every setting but I gotta tell you guys, if you have more than one fretted, you really owe it to yourself to get a set of nylon tapewound strings, they're a trip!!!
