The guitar arrived today and I was very disappointed. I immediately returned it at my local Guitar Center.

The first thing I noticed was the obvious use of a neck shim with a big enough of a gap to slide a medium guitar pick into. Yet the action was still very high. The frets had sprouted all over the neck. Someone removed the neck side strap button and relocated it further back, right along the back edge of the body. They then filled the original hole and painted over it with white paint or nail polish.
The neck shim and fret sprout could have been dealt with. No big issues there. But why on god’s earth would someone move the strap button to the back of the guitar? Sometimes, I don’t really get what some people do. Sounded like a real hack job.
