I think you are the first person I've seen relic their MM. Personally, I like the look of a relic'ed guitar. Damn, you gonna go big on this one???

I think Pete is just saying that he is playing a lot and that the guitar is getting some wear.

but looks nice anyway

Ahhh, I see, duh. Damn Pete, you must be playing the hell out of that thing.
I do agree about a natural relic but I'd NEVER be able to get my guitars played to that point of intense mojo. :(

I'll consider it Mat but I don't think your baby boy knocking it off the guitar stand occasionally would really be considered "road wear" hehe. How about you Mr. Steve Morse…would you consider it? Lol.

Awesome! I'm the total opposite. I'm such a neat freak. I always give mine a polish down after playing. Heaven forbid I ding one! Good on you Pete for loving that thing right!

Oh I hate dinging them and getting them dirty, but I find that when I gig the guitars and make them really work for me, that is when they are likely to give me back some tough love

I am pretty careful with my Balls, but your guitars will not stay immaculate if you play a lot :

The rest of my SUB is still immaculate :

(hard to see on the picture, but the paint under my right arm is more polished than the rest of the body).

Guitars are made to be played !
