Ok! I'm a REO Speedwagon fan, and i came across this old picture of the early nineties of Kevin Cronin playing an Albert Lee before it got the name change because you can kind of see the name Axis on the headstock...I thought it was a cool pic and wanted to share it with you guys.

Is that a kahler on there?

It looks more like the vibrato system EBMM used to install at that time.
It had some kind of locking device behind the nut, probably due to licensing issues, since Floyd Rose systems with locking nuts were a "must-have" in those days.

I used to work in a music shop at that time and I sold two or three of these but I must admit that it was an absolute struggle to get these vibratos working so that they would stay in tune (sorry BP).

The vibratos that EBMM uses these days is wayyyy better!

I'm glad you guys liked it...I was on the Dave Amato website (other guitarist in the picture) which is the current REO Speedwagon guitar player, and looking through the different pictures this picture drew my attention very quick...Anyways would also love to hear the story behing this one as well..
