Help! Replacement nut for SUB1 guitar

I require a replacement nut for my Music Man SUB 1 guitar - serial number X10217.

Looking on the EB store (here: Official Ernie Ball UK Store - Home) I do not see a nut listed specifically for the SUB1. Does anyone have a link to the correct part, or am I best off purchasing a nut from an alternative source?

I have removed the damaged nut from the guitar and have taken some measurements on length and width shown below.

The Sub doesn't have a compensated nut, right? Then it should be this one: Ernie Ball UK - Music Man 10" Nut - GUITAR(non compensated)

But CS will tell you for sure.

I thought some later subs did have a compensated nut, would a silo nut not fit as its the same basic guitar.

I know this is a really old thread but my Sub 1's nut just broke on me. I am looking to be pointed in the right direction for a replacement. I have reached out to Customer Service but I haven't heard back. Any info would be helpful. Same measurements as the original poster, I can provide pictures if original posters aren't enough

CS should be able to help you out- give them a chance. If you don't hear back via email, call them. Calling is always best

A part of the nut of my SUB broke a few years ago but with super glue I managed to put it back.
I bought a replacement nut (Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL PT-5042-00) ... and now I wait that my repair breaks !

The dimension are not perfectly good, but with a file, it should be possible to adapt the new nut.

Alternatively, and even better is to seek out a local luthier and have a real bone nut made for the Subby., It won't cost that much really and then you'll have a really nice nut professionally installed.

Yes, some later SUBs did have the compensated nut and the nut from any EBMM guitar of the same nut width should fit.
