replacing a potentiometer

I bought a used Neptune Blue Ray and noticed when I turned the bass knob, it would pop. Customer service had me take pics and they want to send me a new pot. Is this something a luthier can do? Seems like something I would screw up.

It would be a very easy job for a guitar tech/luthier.

Depending of you country of residence, customer service could be useless, bring you bass to a luthier or someone who knows about electronics, replacing or cleaning a pot is an easy fix.
