Help! Replacing SUB5 preamp - Will a pre-EB schematic be an improvement?

You should have the bass on full or about 3/4 then just add about 1/4 turn on the treble...this should give you a decent sound.

I wasn't very happy with a SUB I recently purchased (and returned).
