Sounds like a solid (and incredibly generous) offer to me! Borrow it, play it, buy one, give it back.

You'll have an EBMM and be set. (And owe Raz big time!)

Where's the problem?

For the love of God, please please please just pull the trigger. I can't take much more of this. (I'm going to have to start filtering out Fogman posts as they're causing too much stress.)

Thanks, Fog! Those were some nice pics.

Now go get an EBMM before you force our hand. I believe I've heard about contingency plans to book William Hung to go to your house and sing for you. :D

hahahaha, this is just funny. I mean why would you give up that offer if Raz is not playing it? The whole point in getting a guitar is to play the hell out of it unless it's for a collection, so you should really be playing instead of waiting an eternity for "your" EBMM to play. People, imagine Foggy COLLECTING guitars!!!!! LOL I'm not even 21 yet, and I'm gonna have my 2nd ball around May (hopefully b4 my bDay). But of course I understand you are a married man with family, and so are many other guys on here, so that is a factor in freely getting something fairly expensive. Anyway, I find this to be entertaining, and I hope I see the Fogman guitar before this year is done. It is ALREADY mid February peple!!!!! Cheers :D .

When I get my very own EBMM I know that only priviledged hands will be allowed to touch it. It will be my prized possession. My No.1 if you will.
With the generous offers that I've received, I would feel terrible should anything happen to someone else's guitar in my possession or in transit.
I have a nice acoustic guitar that I can get my fix for now.

Aaaaah the good ole days! When I was that age I had lots of disposable income! But don't laugh, should I ever come across a huge amount of money, I'd give ernie1966 a run for his money! Pete would have a hug order to fill. Then I would go after a Mr.Horsepower, prototypes, CLB guitars..... You never know what could happen. ;)

Ya, feed those damn kids! :p

Actually, what's really sickening is this. As some of you know I am self-employed. In the last couple of years I've been going through a huge transition. There's been tonnes of training and educating costs. Purchasing of new equipment, software, etc... I also have some business loans coming to an end, advertising contracts maturing... blah, blah blah. The other day I was calculating these expenses, payments, etc.. and realized when all these things are cleared, the income that would be freed up would allow the purchase of minimum 1-2 fully loaded EBMMS per month! Now if that's not depressing, then I don't know what is!?!?!

Anyways, enough of this. I want to thank you all for the encouragement and entertaining me with regards to my 2000 posts! Me and my multiple personalities have had a lot of fun with it. To be up front and not seem deceptive about my "promise" I will say this. It is not in my hands just yet. We're much closer. I spoke with the dealer again today. :)

Good justification, even tho I was not really trying to have you justify yourself. And I agree with you on the subject even with people offering their geetars, even tho I said why dont you take it. I guess everyone has become somehow obsessed with YOU getting a EBMM and it's kinda entertaining. But yea, you are the only one that should pick what you want and get it when the timing is right. Also I think it's even better to practice on an acustic begore going to electric, for finger strength and also you can hear mistakes much better rather then just messin around with distortion (not that there is anything wrong with that). I myself have actually wanted a EBMM since I first heard of Morse and his guitar, which was probably about 7 years ago. So recently I have had the opportunity to get a decent job while going to college and fulfill that need for an awesome guitar. Also I am planning to music for a living SOMEHOW, so I will be needing amazing instruments in the future, but I confess that I am just obsessed with the instrument physically and musically.

It's funny about the acoustic. I've had it for about 6 weeks and for a guy who hasn't played in 10 years, well.... I've been playing better, faster and more acurately in this short time than I did in 2-4 years with my electrics! Though the acoustic is limited in some of the things I could play compared to an electric it has really forced me to play well, and hear how things really sound. With an electric, effects, amps, distortion and such can sometimes make anyone sound good.
I do know that when my Silo lands in my lap, I will play even better because it's such an easy instrument to play! :)

Wow, Mike, you're totally right. My confidence in mankind is shattered. That one of our own could deceive us like this ... it's, well, heartbreaking, gutwrenching, scandalous.

I don't know how I'm going to get through this day.

Geez, first it's Oprah endorsing and defending authors of fictional memoirs, and now this! :(

I use Home Depot that way, but they don't carry guitars.
There's no Guitar Centre around these parts!
