Hi folks,

I'm desperately looking for a finish I can jsut describe as going from yellowish in the middle of the guitar to somwhat redish on the outer edges. The finish should be somewhat metallic or sparkle and I think I've seen pics of a Silo that finish before on the forum but can't remember the name...

Help me please *sniff* :D

I wanna say you are thinking of Autumn Redrise. I have only seen a JP in this color, but i'd say there are other MM guitars in this color.

I think the Autumn Red Burst fits the description nicely, as the Autumn Red Rise is more to a left and right/up and down kinda pattern:
Here's Paul Warren's JP7 in Autumn Red Rise:

CANDID !!!

You absolutely nailed it !!!
These pics of your guitar were exactly the ones I saw a while ago.
Damn, that's soooooo schweet !

I came across a guy on the web who just decribed the finish of a Silo Special he would sell and this led me to post my question. If I'm lucky it'll be perhaps one a bit like yours. OMG would I love it !!!

Thanks pals for yer help !!!

Good luck on the purchase, Axel. It is sweet, sho nuff.

I still have a preference for the rosewood board tone, though this one is set up to play like no other guitar I've ever laid my little paws on.

Thanks a bunch, Joe!
I'm still waiting for a reply from him. Let's see.
It's frankly gorgeous but I tend to say the price he asks is a little too high for a used 2nd hand one in non-mint condition...
Let's wait and see !
Call me insane, but I'm currently completely insecure about the next Ball to buy.
The options are:

- that mentioned autumn redrise Silo Special
- a pre-D-SONIC basic Petrucci
- a floyded Silo in trans-teal
- a Luke or an ASS ?!?

Aaaaargh !
This hurts so bad...

...but who am I telling...
