GORGEOUSNESS!!

My newish SUB 5 is your basic Black with the stock mock-diamondplate that I won't bother reposting: she's getting either Silver Pearloid or Abalone as soon as I can make up my mind, as well as a Clear for a true "Custom" - likely to be rotating "Battlestar Galactica"/"Doctor Who"/Doctor Who's "Karen Gillan"/"Kate Winslet"-themed (depending on whether I'm in Nerd Mode or Perv Mode :D ) but to make up for it, I'll post pictures of a SUB color I've rarely seen outside of promo shots: Textured Cinnamon. In Real Life it's what I call "The Poor Player's 'Mystic Dream'" - a Rust Red/Green flip-flop with Gold accents. It truly shines in direct Natural Sunlight or Stage Lighting but the best I could do was indoor, however I still think it shows off what I consider the most unique of all the SUB finishes - you can see depth in the finish even though where the flash hit it clearly shows the "flatness" of the spray-on finish, which fools with your eyes and brain for a few moments (the Stock Flat Black pickguard was quickly replaced with a White Pearloid 'guard):

Heres mine, which lost the bakerlite and al foil as soon as I got it.
The acyilic feels much nicer to touch....

I like the textured finish....

Apologies for off topic but what are you guys using to clean the textured paint finishes on the SUBs?

Just picked up a four string passive Stingray in black and don't want to damage the finish.

:)

I used just the regular Dunlop spray cleaner. I bet EB Wonder Wipes work wonders as well (how was that for a save?).

Kinda a funny question, though, because it would take some pretty tough abrasive cleaner to really do any harm to that LINEX finish.
