Well, after reading the entire (well, almost) thread from Ebola Cereal, I lost all respect I had for this forum. Being a new member was kind of fun to start, but since I don't own a Music Man guitar I don't see any reason to stick around. I hope to get one some day, or at least play one, but it is after all only a guitar. The only reason I hooked up here in the first place is because of my history with Ernie oh so long ago. I imagine he would not be enjoying this at all.

There is a history behind that thread - certain members becoming troublesome, other forums they belong to suggesting troll threads and hot-button issues, - that is simply too long, too boring and too convoluted to explain.

I've just told someone over on the guitar side that if they no longer wish to participate, there is no reason to explain yourself. If thine own forum offend thee, delete it from your faves. Just do it.

Just make sure you're doing it for the right reasons.

Wow Slofingers....you really dont get it at all.

As for speaking for my dead father I find that incredibly bold and offensive. Did passsing him in the parking lot give you super powers. He was my father, mentor and friend. I think that on your way out you should apologize.

For the record my father would never have the patience for the forum in the first place.
