Hi, All:

This is my first post here, so thanks for having me.

I registered because I want to hear from people who actually have the same guitar and see what they've done.
I have an EVH EB/MM. Because of use, wear/tear and probably lack of the proper maintenance, my maple fretboard has become dark(stained yellow) and dirty . At least it looks that way.

I want to restore it to it's original state as much as possible: clear and clean. I've read so many comments on the internet, like soap with toothbrush, steel wool, yes to lemon oil, no to lemon oil, etc.
So I thought I'd ask here and take it as the definitive answer.

Thanks in advance for your advice!
Regards,
y.

Welcome to the forum!

There was a thread on here 7 or 8 months ago where somebody showed how they cleaned up a guitar really nice. I'll try to look for it, but somebody will probably remember who it was, which will make it easier to find.

I would suggest dremel tool - but you're new here and don't know that I facetiously suggest that as the solution to all problems! :)
