Anyone tried this yet? I'm curious as to the outcome. I'm a huge fan of the versatility of Petrucci's tone and wanted to give these a try. Any positives, negatives, advice or caveats? Any help would be appreciated.
Also, if anyone has any other recommendations on pickup setups, I'd love to hear them. Style is hard rock but with a lot of variety, some proggish leanings as well. I prefer to steer clear of active pickups, but otherwise I'm open to suggestions.
