Hey guys,

now with the BFR AL being discontinued many of us wondered whether this might mark the return of the original pinkburst AL...and it happened!

Albert Lee

Took my breath away for a couple of seconds...:)

I have been watching the Albert Lee guitar page since all the colour options disappeared to see if this would be the new colour and it is!!!!

Looks like they are streamlining all the colors, most models seem to only have black.

Big changes all over the instrument page, interesting.

That is amazing! Still the best looking AL colour in my humble opinion. (I'm holding on to my original Pinkie.)

Lovely,I think musicman is doing the right thing putting out the same spec/colour what albert uses!I'd like to tell you a little true story about when albert played in whitehaven cumbria UK. Albert often comes to our local music farm studios owned by Tom tyson.Albert and Tom are close friends with him coming up here for years and values toms straight talking personality! So there albert was playing his green humbucker version live and everyone in his band was saying it sounded good,so albert said "tom will tell me the truth, hey tom how's the guitar sound?"...to which tom promptly replied "rubbish compared to your red one" haha..Albert played the rest of the show on his SSS pinkburst!BTW tom has the original Emma lou pinkburst and that is as light as a feather with a wicked birdseye neck,no trem, no silent circuit...great guitar! What a gift!

Agreed, best colour ever for the Albert Lee model! I'm glad it found it's way back to the standard AL! As much as I like my BFR, I find myself playing the standard more.

As far as trimming my "collection" is concerned, I decided to let go of some guitars that didn't get quite the attention (and play time) they certainly deserved - there have been a few that always have been just "too pretty" and/or rare to get myself to really put them to work (which probably sounds a bit silly as they're all built to be played) and because of that, they spent most of the time in their cases...so I made it a rule to only keep the ones I would actually play without being too afraid. Quite liberating I must confess.

I'd say buy a different guitar and don't ruin a legend guitar!

Your lack of confidence is heartbreaking!;)

I'd only go this way cause M90's were discontinued. Do not underestimate the power of P90's my young padawan!
