Rhythm Section Clinic, Bongo Reaction

My jazz band had an annual competition today. During the festival there are clinics for all the different sections. So me being a bass player i went to the rhythm section clinic. With about 20 people watching me cause i was the only one with a bass on hand, i broke out my Bongo. As i opened the case i heard such things as "well thats pretty", "Awww, Is that "the" Ernie Ball?" Just makes you proud to be an Ernie Ball MusicMan owner. And just before that i put my first ding in my headstock. Not through the finish though thank god or whomever you praise.

Bongos ARE pretty! It seems to only be other 'set-in-their-ways' bassists who don't think so...
