Well, as usual, I put my foot in my mouth, and want to appologize to those I offened, mainly Big Poppa and Figjam....yes Figjam.....never too old to learn from a "youngun"...as they say. The Sting Ray arrived in pristeen condition, and after a few minor adjustments...plays like....er...olive oil....very fast, clean and leaves no residue.

Big Poppa and all, you make a great bass. I will, after being extremely attentive to my wife for some time to be determined, like to get a 5 string possibly in the future.

Thanks for all the jesting and such. This is a fun forum.

Hey Ricplayer it's all good, We as Musicians sometimes can be bias on what we play and love at the time. I have played Old Fender basses all my life and was Bias about anything else til my first Music Man In 1976.

But I must say Ernie Ball Music Man Basses are beyond any dream of a bass i've ever thought.
Like the Bongo, I personaly did not like the looks of that bass Period, But Big Poppa and Dudley had me try one and now I love it.

I try to stay very open minded just like the music I play because as much as we hate change, Change is good. DJ

Sounds and feels incredible....oh...and so does my Bass! ;)

Just remember ricplayer, No man or woman can have enough Ernie Ball Basses.

You Must dedicate your life and get one of each in every color, hehehehe

Of course, if you get one Ernie Ball in every color you probably won't have a woman, so you need to weigh up that side of the equation :D
