Buck was the real deal !!!!!

i'm forever greatful to him & Don Rich for being VERY encouraging to me as a very young teenage geetar player. met them a few times !!!!
& they both could REALLY play too !!!!!

:)

Owens, elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1996, was modest when describing his aspirations.

“I’d like to be remembered as a guy that came along and did his music, did his best and showed up on time, clean and ready to do the job, wrote a few songs and had a hell of a time,” he said in 1992.

that's how it's done fella's !!!!!

Oh, man.....I thought he was already dead. But then again, I think that about a lot of celebrities.

having said that, this is very sad news. RIP Buck.

So sorry to hear about Bucks passing. A friend of mine grew up in Bakersfield and he always spoke very highly of Buck. I remember watching Hee Haw when I was a kid. My favorite part was with Buck and Roy, " I'm a pickin... And I'm a Grinnin" Awesome musicianship, corny humor, and hot chicks. What a show.
