Meant to get this in yesterday on the anniversary of Randy's death, but forgot. Great tune here, and I'm pretty sure Rudy Sarzo is playing a sabre here.

He died on my birthday. I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news. He was one helluva rocker.

One of my faves. I saw Ozzy just a few months later on what became the "Speak of the Devil" album. So sorry to have missed him.

He's known for his fluid classic leads, but man he could groove some rhythm with the best of them. Great riffs.

I did sound for a drum clinic with Tommy Aldridge and he showed 4 different ways to play crazy train. Everybody in the room dropped their jaws, incredible drummer and nice guy.

Awesome vid. Randy was certainly a special and gifted player. Rudy is too. He has been in so many big bands it is quite amazing to me actually. Nice guy.

Randy will always be missed, but his legacy will live forever.
