RIP Wayne Charvel - "father of the superstrat"

This seems to have pretty much flown under the radar until today, but Wayne Charvel has passed at the age of 85. He had one of the original "custom shops" for S-type guitars, and the list of people who worked with him and the brand he founded is massive. He sold his company to employee Grover Jackson, who would end up making bodies for Music Man in the 80s when the CLF fallout happened.
