In other news, I spied two roasted Stingray's on Drum City Guitar Land's dealer listing earlier today. I expect that to land with them by the end of the week.

Fing's pictures and the original announcement pictures really have me salivating to see more pictures of these pieces. I think this could very well top the Rosewoods.

Is it just me, or does the fretboard appear to be rosewood? I know they were advertised as ebony, and this may very well be ebony - just looks like rosewood to me. Perhaps it is very chocolatey ebony. Mmmm, chocolate and black sugar...

Besides that (and the extra string or two) - beautiful instrument! These necks are mesmerizing...

Fing's was a special one done for that event for Guitar Center that has a rosewood fingerboard. The production Roasted Maple LEs will have ebony boards.
