Are they coming to Music Man guitars in the near future? I would have bet the farm and lost. I thought for sure they would have shown up in NAMM this winter. I love the necks!
but that's kindof the idea behind the BFR line. the BFR line is to give normal folks the chance to get stuff that an endorsed artist would potentially get.... special, limited edition guitars
You never know, considering they were a summer Namm thing and they are still delivering the Black Sugar's I am not suprised they didn't have any sort of new model with them out, but I don't think you lost the farm yet...I sure hope you didn't, I came very very close to getting a Black Sugar bass but just couldn't swing it
I doubt we have seen the last of the RM necks, as they are too cool not to resurface. I like the straight to the point answer Sterling gave on the video tour of the factory when he picked one up and said they are supposed to be more stable but I dont know if that is true.lol The bottom line is they look wicked and I wanted that wickedness.
More roasted maple would be cool, but I would also like to see more of the All Rosewood necks. I wouldn't mind a Silo Spec or a BFR ASS with an all rosewood neck... or an all maple roasted neck. I would love to see that fretboard goodness.
Put me down for a BA5-SSS with RMN option as soon as it's announced. I went to order a Big Al 5 SSS with the RMN option in early October, but was told the Roasted Maple Neck option was no longer available to order, which was very disappointing. I'm really hoping this option will be available again during 2011. Would be cool if it was available on any EBMM guitar or bass.
are all roasted necks finished?
picked up a Black Sugar JP6 tonight with roasted neck and the finish is pretty thick on there.
tempted to sand it off, not sure if it's finished for a reason...?
