I highly recommend the HHAL!!! I have been playing it more then any other guitar lately... my gold Axis has been my mainstay since Jan 1997... its been cased of late due to the AL.

Don't worry though, I have a plan for more playing time for each Ball I own... just going through the "bonding" phase with the AL.

Yah I've played/messed around with them before, nice guitar for sure, love the AL shape!!!

Glad to hear that. I've been working sooo much, there just hasn't been anytime to play, which bites, gonna try to turn that around very, very soon.

I'm still to work out what I'm going to order, thinking about a Y2D, HH Al and a Reflex? Have had a lot of interest from my customers though.

LoL!

I was wondering is you were bumping it in hopes of them posting a vid of the colour.

Yes, great thread.

Glad I could make you laugh Foggy!!! :)

Doubt they have the time to make a video of the color. I'm thinking about what Dargin/Scott said, think of the Dargie 2's just black not green. The fleck must give it a gold'ish hue.

23 pages of WOW! Browndog - your work is truly excellent. I've got a towel on the floor to sop up the drool! Wish I could get in on this amazing run but wont be able to swing it this time around. Have to say, when I first read about the model, the Gold Roller first popped into my head - and the mock up confirms it - its stunning!!!

Congrats to everyone who gets one - truly an incredible offering. Wow!

Thanks Norrin and to the rest of you that gave me compliments. Its was a labour of love for me. I hope that some of my mock-ups helped sway ones opinion on what to order.

Funny enough, the White HH AL with the all Roasted Maple neck that no one asked for took the longest to do. 3 hours just to do the neck. Anyone with Photoshop knowledge knows why. Every area between the string & fret and the string, fret and the edge of the neck had to be separated for the Roasted Maple to go into. Count that up and its 161 areas not including the headstock.

If they ever offer the all Roasted Maple neck as an option, my mock-ups will take forever! :)

Congrats to all those that are lucky enough to get one of these BS/RM beauties.

I had no idea it was that intensive, Browndog. Thanks! That White AL with the all roasted maple neck is a work of art. Reading your post makes me appreciate the picture even more!
