Would it not be AMAZING if Ernie ball opened ordering of roasted necks to all models? Personally I LOVE mine and would order another silo spec on white with a roasted neck !! So how does the forum cause such a stir that this could happen? Emails? Letters? Calling hours on end?? I'm kidding of course but this needs to happen and since our community is AWESOME, we need this as proof of love to the knuckle heads.

Call it knuckle head special edition.

My 5 cents! (We don't have pennies anymore in Canada)

The roasted necks really are awesome. Maybe a short ordering periode like there was with the rosewood necks a while ago? Who knows what will happen. Better for my financial position that it doesn't happen though..

I hear you, Although I love the roasted necks, I like the unfinished feel. I thought I saw a morse once with a roasted neck but wasn't finished..if I could order one of those I would...Ancaster?? small world, I'm in Stoney Creek, we don't have pennies here either :p

The Morse Dark Lord and the PDN package instruments had roasted necks with the gunstock oil/wax finish.

I have a roasted neck with a gloss finish on my Frankensugar Axis, which I love, and the gunstock oil finish on my other two roasted necks, which I also love.

Morse-wise, you have the Darklord which has an unfinished roasted maple neck and the PDN 2012 version (which I have) that also has that unfinished neck. I believe there are still a few of the latter around and they rock!

Tollie beat me to it... ah well

I say roasted necks w/ stainless frets would be a nice choice to be able to have on most models. I do love this combination on my PDN ASS, wish I had it on my Silo Special.

roasted all the way!
they are just great sounding and feeling necks, if roasted would be an option on all unfinished maple-necks, i would go with the roasted one on every guitar.
