So please dont yell at me if this is a stupid question (I know, terrible way to start a statement out). I am pretty sure i read somewhere that they basses were on order awhile ago, but was/is there a cut off date for these beauties? A single H SLO stingray would be perfect but money is tight for at least 6 more months.

First, there are no stupid questions. Second, since MM has been offering basically one-off versions of the Bongo since 2006 (Dargie, DD2, rosewood necks, etc.), I make it a point to stick my head in here at least once a week to see whats going on. I have a credit card I use only for emergencies and MM offering a roasted maple neck on a Bongo is definitely an emergency. When the order period arrives you put the deposit on the card, chances are when the bass is ready, you have the deposit paid off. You can take your time paying off the rest, no need to worry about order periods leaving you behind. The credit card makes the order period a non issue, you just need to know when it's happening and strike accordingly.

Also, if Mr. DuBaldo doesn't have what you are looking for I would recommend a call to EBMM customer service, they may be able to tell you which dealers ordered your desired config and you can call those dealers and see if they have one that isn't spoken for.

What is this "Credit-Card" that you speak of???

It must be an object, small, rectangular, and made of plastic-
That responsible people who pay their Bills in a timely manner can carry in their wallet or purse... to Use!

Wow, that sounds AMAZING! Like...like a dream, or World Peace, or a cure for psoriasis or something...!

TO be able to call and say "I will have a Roasted Big Al 4SSS, here's a series of numbers (and a CVC code)", and the elves at EBMM will begin its build...

What a wonderful World we live in!
