I was able to snag two tickets for a Robert Cray concert for next week, which is great because I love his soulful voice and excellent blues guitar sound/riffs.

Lets just say I'm a big fan of his music. Now all I have to do is convince him to put down his Strat and start playing a EBMM. Maybe a signature model! A SSS (signature Pups of course), a sweet ALL rosewood neck, in Inca silver or some awesome shade of coolness.

OK, I'm back to reality now. It's nice to dream.

You'll enjoy it. I saw him this summer. Got to watch from 20' away with an unobstructed view. Learned a lot. What I liked most (and I think you'll agree once you see him live) is that he didn't play all the cliched licks that are so easy and familiar. He had his own style of phrasing and lead playing and just the way he moved around the neck that was very different from anyone I've seen or heard play live before. When he started a run, you'd never know where it was going. It was always different and brilliant. Have fun!
