EBMM appear to specialise in coulour which look awesome in person, but are hard to photograph....my Pearl Purple SS always looks almost black in most photos

to be honest, I hate that color.
it looks brown onstage, it's hard to find clothes that mathes it!

it's a great color, when it's hanging in front of a white wall, though.

So, to sum up, if you really like it, go for it, but if you don't , you won't be able to fall in love with it. (like me, but I love that guitar, because it feels and sounds great.)

by the way, the matching headstock isn't really necessary with that color, the nat headstock is a good match.

I have a Bongo HH fretless with lined neck in Rolls Burgundy - the posted pic looks too light in color it actually is a much deeper color and gloss but not high gloss.

Color? Difficult to say except that is is the same as the Burgundy finish found on some R*lls R*yce cars or a more gloss version of the color Cartier use on ther Tradition range of leathergoods (possible legal action may be the reason why the finish/descripton ceased as an available option from EBMM, I'm speculatiing here)

Mine is with a white pearlshell pick guard.
