I've always found that our guest room at home wasn't really used enough. So I decided to move all (well most of it) guitars and amps there, and make something of it

This is the Guitar and 'Studio' part of the room. Recently I bought a M-Audio sound card, which is great for recording, and I transformed my laptop into a recording-computer

This part of the room is a bit more fun :D

So now I can record, rehearse, and write music here! It's really fun, I can spend all day in here now :D

I've got a wedge area at the back corner of our living room set aside for my "studio". Got the pictures/posters, a nice-sized home system with c.d. player to practice along with, c.d. tower, Fender Bassman25 practice amp...and a beeline view of the t.v.!

Gotta love that!

My "studio"/practice area is a small chair in my bedroom, under which is my little 10w Ibanez guitar amp. In front of the chair is my DR770 drum machine & Tascam CD-BT1 for practicing. On top of the chair is my Tascam US-122 USB thingy that lets me run xlrs, midis & 1/4" to my laptop, which also sits on top of the chair. Next to the chair is my $200 ibanez guitar.

When needed, my bass comes out of its case, and my 800RB head comes in from the other room.

EDIT: oh yeah, the chair also serves as a shirt hanger.

Our 3rd bedroom never was a bedroom. Instead it houses the computer, a ton of books, 2 telescopes, a 13" TV with 3 video game systems (Atari 2600, NES, & Playstation 2), and currently 4 guitars, 2 basses, several violins (the other fiddles are in a closet in the master bedroom), & 4 amps. It's my favorite room in the house! :)

Our 3rd bedroom houses a treadmill with a 20" TV/DVD player right above it, a weight machine that never gets used, 6 basses, a Hartke Kickback 15, a Tascam CD-BT1, my old JVC receiver with my old bose speakers and my old 100 disk CD changer and a drum throne. That's where I spend my mornings on the treadmill and a lot of my evenings honing my bass skills.

I don't use any effects on bass, my Fafner is all I need!
But I do have a line6 guitar POD + floorboard, which is great for recording, and have a nice lead tone on the marshall. Clean, the Marshall is great, but the lead isn't too good, so there the POD comes in handy.

Converted single-car garage dweller here. Walled up the door, threw some carpet down, installed a room AC so I can smoke (plus a serious exhaust fan), painted the sucker purple and here I am.

Equipment I can see from here:

- peavey session bass head and a 1-15 cabinet.
- sunn head with ampeg 4-10 and 1-15 cabinets.
- ampeg B50r.
- Fender Performer 650, which is some kind of guitar amp.
- Mackie 808 PA head.
- microphones and stands and cables EVERYWHERE.
- EV pa speakers.
- Roland digital 8 track machine.
- white pearl drum set.
- laptop.
- stereo.
- black sapphire Bongo.
- surf green Tele.
- Martin acoustic.
- Yamaha acoustic.
- shoes, currently empty.
- martini glass, currently half full (I'm an optimist).
- EB flats in a big stack, waiting to be processed.
- some kind of weird pakistani drum.
- about 12 guitar stands.

And me, your host.

Hmm. I wonder if I still have any of my Atari frisbees around the house?

I programmed Atari 800s for years. I still have an Atari 800 Emulator that runs under Windows!

Cool! No, I don't think I do. I had a 2600 when I was a kid, and then I bought one on eBay a few years ago just for the hell of it. I wound up with a couple of dozen games, but I don't think any of them are particularly rare.
